Warranty information

In the unlikely event that the ClearShield has failed in its performance and the applicator has determined to their satisfaction that the customer has not mistreated the glass and has used the correct cleaning products and procedures and the customer is still within the warranty period described, then the ClearShield will be reapplied at no charge to the customer. We hereby warrant ClearShieldTM which will provide the treated glass with a hydrophobic finish that will remain water and stain resistant for a period of the warranty.

Aftercare products can be purchased which will extend the life of the coating.

All of the products installed by The Glass protection Guy are warranted to be free of defects. If a product is shown to be defective, it will be replaced without additional charges. Our range of flat glass tinting products will be fully warranted against peeling, bubbling, cracking, crazing, de-laminating, de-metallization, adhesive failure and colour change Australia wide as long as it is owned by the original purchaser of the window film for supply and installation. When installed in a professional manner. UltraGard/Glass Tinting Supplies flat glass warranty is non transferable. It is valid only for the individual or entity that originally purchased the supply and installation of the film. It is limited to the replacement of film and associated labour costs. The warranty does not cover damage that has accrued through mistreatment or improper care during it’s life.

Cleaning: Ammonia free products must be used, normal windex will damage the film coating, a slightly damp cloth is often the best method.
